My Story


caitlin on the beach I started Earthly Expressions to pursue my dream of owning my own business, while giving me time to spend with my family.

Creating jewelry has been a wonderful way for me to express my creativity! I love using wire working techniques to shape and manipulate sivler and copper into climbing vines and twisting branches.

I also have an obsession with swirls, spirals and celtic symbols, which is eveident in much of my work.

Each one of a kind piece I design is handcrafted with gemstones, seeds, pearls, shells, horn, lampwork beads, and/or wood. The colors and textures of nature are endless. With so many amazing and unique materials available, every bead is a work of art.

A Little About Me . . .

I live in beautiful Brunswick, Georgia, a coastal community, with my two daughters (seen in these photos exploring their favorite Jekyll Island beach) and very supportive husband. Originally from Warwick NY, I consider myself a "yankee in the deep south".

After working with young children for the past 20 years as a pre-school teacher, I decided to shift gears and take my serious love and passion of jewelry making to the next level.

I am a self taught jewelry designer who draws inspiration for the designs I create in the simple beauty of nature and natural materials. I am especially influnced by the amazing live oaks that surround me here in the south.

Living on the coast has greatly inspired my jewelry designs. I love using any material that connects me to the beauty of the ocean, especially shells and pearls.
Every piece is created with love, care, and attention to detail using only quality materials. I hope you enjoy wearing my jewelry as much as I love creating it!

With the ease of summer living coming to an end, now is a great time to balance your energy, and get ready for the hectic school year. Come join me for a Girls Night Out where we will take a fun COLOR QUIZ to find out what colors you need in your life to create balance and peace. Then create a beautiful bracelet to using those colors!

September 23rd Workshop:
Changing Seasons Earrings

Learn basic wire working techniques and create your own interchangeable silver earrings. In this workshop you will learn about different wires and wire gauges, how to create a P loop, eye loop and wire wrapped loop. You will then wire wrap your choice of 3 different color Czech glass leaf beads to add to your earrings. These beads can be changed out with the season. You will end up with enough beads to create 3 different pairs of earrings!
