Birthstone Chart

The following Birthstone chart is gives the modern, traditional, and other birthstones to help you choose the birthstone that best suits you. Each month of our calendar year has gemstones that are associated with that month.

The stones listed are considered lucky for their particular months, and it is believed that each stones healing powers are heightened during their months.

The official birthstone chart of Modern Birthstones comes from the American National Association of Jewelers, Jewelers of America. These gemstones were officially adopted in 1912. In the US, this is the accepted list.

The Mystical Birthstone chart contains older birthstones and is sometimes combined with the modern and traditional birthstone charts. Birthstone Charts vary from jeweler to jeweler, but in gereral the birthstone colors will be very close from list to list.
